I had my plan set. An MBA, a career in marketing strategy, and nearly eight years working with corporates and educational institutions. Life was structured, steady, and moving in the direction it “should.” Coaching wasn’t part of the plan. In fact, when I shifted to career coaching in 2020, I had no idea what the future had in store for me
Like many coaches, I started by guiding professionals toward clarity, growth, and confidence in their careers. But what I didn’t realize then was that life had a very different plan for me—a plan that would change not just my journey, but the lives of thousands of women.
It all started by chance.
In 2022, one of my clients was a past work colleague and a close friend. She had been on a career break. She wasn’t just struggling with updating her resume or finding the right job postings—her real battle was with her mindset. Self-doubt, guilt, hesitation, and that lonely question every woman on a break asks herself: “Can I really Restart?”
Helping her wasn’t just about career strategy—it was about rebuilding belief. And when she succeeded, I realized I had stumbled onto something far deeper than I had planned.
I realized how a simple career break – may be due to Marriage, Maternity, Health Reasons or any other social commitment – could induce so many self-doubts inside a woman’s mind. I had a High Performer, an Academic achiever in front of me saying “Am I good for anything now?”
I decide to help her. We worked together. Mindset, Reskilling, Profile Rebuilding – an approach that was crafted on the Go! Within 3 months, she started getting good opportunities. She Returned back to Work with confidence.
I shared her story on Instagram. And suddenly, the page that had been quiet for five years exploded—10k, 20k, 50k, 100k, 200k. Women from everywhere reached out, saying, “This is my story too.”
That was my turning point.
I dove deeper—researching, learning, coaching, and teaching. I began to see patterns. I had grown up watching three categories of women all around me:
- Some who had never worked and weren’t looking to.
- Some who were working, completely immersed in their professional worlds.
- And the third—the ones who had worked, could work, but had stepped away. Out of love, responsibilities, and social expectations. And when they wanted to return, they found themselves fighting that battle alone.
It was this third category that pulled at my heart. Because I knew they weren’t just capable—they were powerful. They only needed a safe space, a roadmap, and someone who believed in them before they believed in themselves.
That’s how Career Comeback Hub was born.
Today, it’s more than a program—it’s a community, a movement. A safe space for women rediscovering themselves personally and professionally. We’ve seen women who returned as a trainers & freelancers after their break; who received multiple job offers after maternity; and who cracked reputed returnship programs with great companies. And there are hundreds more—each story a reminder of what’s possible when belief meets action.
Through all of this, my thought has remained simple: Every woman should explore her professional self—not just to earn, but to realize her full potential.
Because when a woman becomes professionally and financially independent, she doesn’t just change her own life—she inspires her family, her community, and an entire generation.
This is not just my work anymore. It’s my calling. And if you’re reading this, maybe it’s the gentle nudge you need too—to not wait for the perfect time, but to take one step, just one, toward the life you were meant to live.
